The maths

Gmail specifics
The 25 MB cap covers the whole outgoing message rather than the attachment alone, so leave headroom for the body. Gmail offers a Drive link instead of an attachment once a file exceeds it. Work and school accounts run on limits their Workspace administrator sets, which may be lower.
Long clips
