Common Issues

Video Conversion Failed
  • Ensure the video is not DRM-protected (e.g. from a streaming service like Netflix).
  • Check that you have sufficient storage space on your device.
  • Try a shorter clip — very long videos may exceed available memory.
"No Capacity to Record"
  • The device ran out of memory during encoding.
  • Force-quit the app and reopen it, then try again.
  • Reduce the output resolution or trim the clip shorter.
Video Does Not Appear in the Picker
  • Confirm the video is saved in your Photo Library or Files.
  • Check that Basketweaver has permission to access the selected photo or video.
  • DRM-protected videos from streaming services cannot be converted.

Output Requirements

Basketweaver creates compact, broadly compatible WebM files:

  • Max file size: 4 MB
  • Max duration: 300 seconds
  • Codec: VP8
  • No audio
